After taking barre classes for more than ten years and experiencing positive results, Cheryl decided to turn her passion into a new profession. Cheryl began teaching barre, cardio, HIIT and yoga at Exhale in 2017. She was also the manager of the fitness program at Exhale, and had the privilege of training new teachers and contributing to innovating new class content. Prior to discovering barre, Cheryl earned her black belt in Tae Kwon Do. After sustaining a broken leg during training, Cheryl found that barre was both an excellent full body workout, as well as rehabilitative for her injury. Cheryl is passionate about the benefits of exercise, and believes that people of all ages and stages in their fitness journey can benefit from participating in a variety of exercise programs. In addition to her barre certification, cardio and HIIT certifications, Cheryl is a 200 hour certified yoga teacher. Cheryl is the mother of two sons, age 20 and 21. She recently relocated to New York City from Dallas, and looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for fitness with new students and friends.
